The History of your local bar service
the history of the bubbly bar
A rusting bike became a sparkle in our eyes
Owner Andy explains how The Bubbly Bar was born.
Whilst out with my best mate Dave, we came across a Lambro model, rusting away on an industrial estate. Dave, a huge scooter enthusiast, encouraged me to purchase it so we could restore it together as a project, which seemed like a good idea at the time.
We tracked down the owner, who sold it to me. We then made a start on stripping it to pieces and sent it away to be sandblasted.

In memory of...
Dave, unfortunately, passed away and the Lambro was forgotten about for a couple of years until I had a reminder from Ian who had done some work on it.
This prompted me to make a decision to finish it in Dave’s memory.
THE RESTORATION
The restoration has taken a little longer than originally thought as I only had weekends available but after 700 hours of hard work and dedication involving sourcing parts, I had made the dream come true and my mobile bar was born.
I have many people to thank for helping me finish this, mainly Ian for his workshop facilities, knowledge and assistance but I am sure Dave would have been happy with the final result.
Now we have The Bubbly Bar – you local mobile bar service

What now?
Now I had this beautiful vehicle, I needed as many people as possible to see it - and what better way to do this than to offer people not just a look at the truck but order their favourite bubbly beverage from there!
I have been hired for weddings, corporate events, occasions and more – and along with my team will serve you from the taps with a smile!
Me and the truck will travel wherever you need me to, with extra costs for long distance.
Take your pick from the drinks options including of course, prosecco, bucks fizz or beer.
